I started my insurance career in South Florida, opening the first A Plus insurance in 1988. The success of the first A Plus allowed me to go on to open 25 more agencies in 6 years. At that point I decided to partner with a new insurance company called Federated National. I became their director of marketing and sat on their board of directors, allowing me to gain valuable experience dealing with insurance companies and the state insurance commissioner's office. Federated went on to become one of the largest home insurance companies in Florida.
In 1989 my wife and I moved to the space coast to start our family. Almost 20 years later our sons are in college and we love our life and the community where we raised our family
